Combat Mindset® is a mixed martial arts training  & conditioning studio that specializes in all aspects of peak performance coaching for fighters, athletes and individuals that want to be better than they have ever been.

Combat Mindset is more than a set of training methods, it’s a way of life. Developed over the last two decades by international security consultant Michael Saad, it eliminates distractions and focuses on practical, real world training that prepares people of all ages and backgrounds for the cage, ring or life.

We build overall strength, increase max power, improve mobility and flexibility, and develop aerobic fitness through a variety of functional movements, Olympic Lifting, plyometrics and high intensity intervals. Don’t be surprised if we have you deadlifting, jumping rope, squatting, swinging kettlebells, pushing weight, pulling weight, running or rowing—we get you results through muscle confusion with our varied and effective programming.

Our MMA Conditioning Program is scientifically-derived and has been designed to maximize gains in each functional fitness area without compromising results in any of the others. Our certified coaches are fully hands-on and work with each individual athlete to ensure his or her program is personalized to suit specific strengths, weaknesses or performance goals.

football

Our strength program relies heavily on compound lifts that get you biomechanically prepared for the stresses your body will face on game day, but we also use other highly-effective, somewhat unconventional forms of training, like tire flips and sled pulls. We increase power with high-intensity plyometrics.

baseball

Whether you’re in-season or off-season, Combat Mindset can develop a training program specifically designed for your individual goals. Our baseball conditioning program focuses on developing and enhancing aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity/speed, strength & power, flexibility and injury prevention.

basketball

Our program is specifically crafted to suit the demands of four quarters on the court. All workouts, drills and movements are basketball-specific, meaning they tax the same energy systems and mimic the same biomechanics you’ll use in the game.

cheerleading

Cardiovascular endurance: In order to cheer, tumble, dance, stunt and jump for 2 and ½ minutes, you NEED endurance. We use a mix of steady-state aerobic exercise and high-intensity interval training (sprints, jump ropes, etc.) to improve aerobic capacity.

volleyball

Our expert coaches utilize a combination of Olympic lifting, plyometrics, sprinting, forward and lateral agility drills, as well as high intensity interval training to improve your overall level of fitness, tailored specifically to your particular needs as a volleyball player.

golf

Our golf-specific conditioning program applies our scientifically-backed, field-tested brand of functional athletic training to increase the length of your drive, decrease your score, and reduce your risk of injury. Each program is personalized for the individual athlete following a complete biomechanical assessment.

tactical

From high-intensity interval training to tire flipping to tactical self defense… everything we’ll throw at you is fully functional and meant to get you in fighting form in the shortest amount of time possible. And whether you’re starting from scratch or are already in top physical condition, we will modify our program to meet your specific needs and abilities.
